MapleWoodstock 2007

WOW! What a totally rockin' great time that was! MapleWoodstock is a fabulous music festival that is held every summer in Maplewood, and this year’s was, by far, the biggest ever. There were TWENTY-EIGHT bands over the course of two days. Lots of original music as well as cover bands, and hundreds of families enjoying the cool scene. Of course, StarFish was the best band, but only because we are so amazingly fantastic. Lots of other fabulous groups came pretty close. Especially the amazing Rachel Z! It was supposed to rain at some point during the weekend, but, fortuitously, the weather was gorgeous all the way up to the very last band (the way-cool Emotional Rex). Ironically, it started raining right when they started singing the first chorus to Walkin' On The Sunshine.

We could have posted a picture of the whole band wailing, or of the huge crowd, but the way Dr. Yes and AntFarm are groovin' in this little clip kind of sums up how cool we are. It's actually amazing how cool we are. We think so, anyway. We're like ice cubes in lemonade. We're like a cool breeze on the beach. We're like liquid oxygen powering the rocket ship of your rock'n'roll! WE ARE THE GREATEST ROCK BAND IN THE UNIVERSE!

Also... we are charmingly humble. (And it's hard to be, when you're us.)
