World Café Live

What a great place! What a great crowd! What an insanely great band! If you haven't been to this fabulous venue in Philadelphia, you've gotta go. It's gorgeous, with lots of room, good food, a super sound system and a very cool staff. I guess that's why some of the greatest rock bands in the entire universe play there! Major kudos and thanks to Mark Grassi for doing such a great job on sound for us. It really helps us get our groove on when the sound is so good, and I'm sure the parents and kids all appreciated it, too. We had 150 or more people there (including a lot of StingRay's relatives!) and we sold 25 CD's! Wooo hooooooo!

StarFish rocked the house as part of the Peanut Butter & Jams series of concerts for kids. Now, you can't just waltz into a rockin' town like Philly and pretend to rock. You know that, right? If you want a Philly crowd to start doing a frenzied hippity-hop then you better be able to REALLY ROCK! Well, it's probably safe to say that this is why World Café Live called us, the über-rockers, the super-groovers, the monsters in your rock-closet, the ... you get the idea. Ask anybody: we rocked. (Which you surely would have guessed if I hadn't told you already.)
